I am a self-taught artist, illustrator and web-designer. I've always drawn with charcoal and pencils, anywhere and everywhere.
My mother gave me a passion of painting, she taught me chiaroscuro technique and much more. Drawing for me was always a way to keep the concentration high during school lessons. Later I discovered the computer and loved it. I was bewitched by it, every idea, every dream I have, I try to achieve it through digital art. All my artworks are a way of escaping into fantasy and creativity while trying to "recharge my batteries". I started with photo manipulation and mixed-media technique, now my major activity is digital painting but without abandoning the use of traditional tools. I'm an employee and freelancer, I work as graphic designer, webdesigner but mainly I am a IT consultant and even a daddy of two wonderful "princess Leila" , no "Luke Skywalker" for now ;) ).
As I haven't had much free time in these years and the number of illustrations had slightly decreased, I changed my way of making art. Nowadays I paint with iPad and Procreate, these tools have increased their power in the recent years so I can now do great illustrations in a way that I could never imagine before. I can perform my passions seated on a sofà while my children are playing, I can paint wherever I am. This saved me. Everybody needs to find a way to do what they love to do.
~~I have archived my old illustrations, maybe one day I'll insert them in some section of my blog.~~ I've added old mixed media illustrations, since 2007-2009, I love some of them.
Since 2017 I'm exploring my nerd art with 3D printing, I usually print and paint action figures but I worked on big projects too, like armours, helmets, costumes and props. You can find these works on my Instagram account on link below.
